Randle L. Smith serves as co-portfolio manager of the Virtus Global Dividend Fund and the Virtus Total Return Fund, and as senior utilities analyst of the DNP Select Income Fund, Inc. He has been a Senior Vice President of Duff & Phelps since January 1998. He served previously as Managing Director of Duff & Phelps from 1996-1998. From 1990-1995, Mr. Smith was employed by Duff & Phelps Investment Research Co., where he served as Managing Director (1995), Vice President (1992 - 1994), Assistant Vice President (1991) and Analyst (1990). Mr. Smith concentrates his research on the global electric, natural gas and transportation infrastructure industries. He holds BS and MS degrees from Purdue University.
