Chief Operations Officer
James D. Harding serves as Chief Operations Officer. In this role, Mr. Harding oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, key projects, and the firm’s budget. Functional areas included under Mr. Harding’s responsibility are information systems, internal operations, accounting, real estate, human resources, and office services. He is the Chair of Duff & Phelps’ Risk Management Committee and a member of the Brokerage Committee.
Mr. Harding was most recently the Director of Internal Operations, a role he took on soon after joining the firm in 2002. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Mr. Harding worked for Hewitt Associates.
Mr. Harding holds an MA degree in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding University, an MA degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a BA degree in History from Indiana University. Currently, Mr. Harding is pursuing a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems. Mr. Harding is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
