(NASDAQ: VRTS), today announced that Jieren (Jenny) Huang, CPA, has joined the global real estate securities team as a global research analyst. Huang will provide in-depth fundamental analysis and estimate intrinsic fair values, for real estate securities in the U.S. and Asia Pacific region.

Huang joins Duff & Phelps after 4 years at Mizuho Securities USA LLC, where she served as an equity research associate and equity research intern focused on the U.S. REITs and homebuilder sectors. Prior to Mizuho, Huang was an audit assistant manager at KMPG LLP where she conducted financial statement audits for major telecom and utility companies.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and an MBA in investment finance from Northeastern University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a Level II candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. She also holds Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses.
